Dr Clark Brown, MD PhD recently joined HemoR&D Solutions, LLC as Medical Consultant. Previously Dr Brown served as Vice President, Integrated Sciences and Clinical Site Excellence at Legacy Global Blood Therapeutics / Pfizer, Inc. Prior to entering biotechnology industry, he was an Associate Professor at Emory School of Medicine and served as the Director of Clinical Research for the Sickle Cell Program, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, his medical and graduate training at University of Tennessee and his pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, respectively. Dr Brown’s research efforts are focused on areas of novel pharmacologic therapies for sickle cell disease. Dr Brown has a strong international presence within the sickle cell community, including being an investigator on NIH- and Industry-sponsored clinical trials and educational outreach projects.
