Dr. Rosalyn W. Stewart, professor of clinical medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics, addiction medicine and pediatric hospital medicine. Dr. Stewart is uniquely qualified to lead clinical innovations directed to obviate social determinants of health. She is a leader in the development, improvement and delivery of care for individuals with health disparities and coordinates quality improvement efforts geared toward refining health care services. Her innovations improve the health of people living with sickle cell disease by coupling excellent medical care with programs that target root causes leading differences in sickle cell disease burden.
